You Can Do Hard Things!
I wanted to share some of the practical ways we can lean into the discomfort of doing “hard things.” This by no means is an exhaustive list or in any specific order of importance. Even more, some of the tips may not apply to your current situation. Take what you need!
Doubt Comes In
This visual and musical representation of the struggle we experience when “doubt comes in” was unfolding right before my eyes. It was all too familiar. I pondered this scene for days after. I was confronted with the ways I allowed doubt to take a seat at the table of my life.
But You Promised!
The idea of "whatever is meant to be will be" is a lie that many have believed. It is an excuse to be lazy and gives us "permission" to relinquish our responsibility and put all the onus on God.
Wildfires
I have an affinity for flowers and plants that has increased over this past year. Flowers have always been an inexpensive addition to my home that quickly adds vibrancy and joy. Last week, I walked into the grocery store to purchase a few items. Upon entering, my eyes were drawn to a beautiful flower I now know is called a Protea.
This Is Love

Highlights

Comparison Kills
Have you ever compared yourself to someone else? I think if we are all honest the answer is a resounding yes! However, comparison kills! There are ways we can fight against it.
Adventure Awaits
Since I moved to California, I spend a lot of time in my car. This has started my love affair with Podcasts. I always learn interesting facts and hear inspiring stories. I wanted to share one of these stories with you because I think it will encourage you as it did me!
Count The Cost

Otherwise, you might complete only the foundation before running out of money, and then everyone would laugh at you. They would say, “There’s the person who started that building and couldn’t afford to finish it!” Luke 14: 28-30 NLT
Lessons In The Lyrics

Better Together
God created us to thrive and grow in community. We can certainly do more together than we can apart.
A Bird's Eye View
When we have “a bird’s eye view” in life, we learn to see the bigger picture. This can be challenging at times because it is easy to get stuck in the minutia of life.
